Minnesota’s Tubby Smith: “I’m not a candidate for any other jobs.”
Minnesota coach Tubby Smith told local reporters today that he’s not looking to leave at the end of the season for another job.
Smith has been rumored as a potential candidate for the open job at Alabama because of his ties to the SEC as coach at Georgia and Kentucky. He was hired at UK by former athletics director C.M. Newton, who will help advise the Crimson Tide’s Mal Moore during the upcoming search.
