Oher glad he stayed at Ole Miss

ORLANDO, Fla. — Ole Miss offensive tackle Michael Oher looked around the interview room here Wednesday evening at the posh Disney Boardwalk Hotel.

He was surrounded by college football’s elite, all gathered for tonight’s Home Depot ESPNU College Football Awards Show that airs live at 6:30.
And considering why Oher is here — as a finalist for the 63rd Outland Trophy, which is awarded to the best interior lineman in college football — and accounting for Ole Miss’ 8-4 season and a trip to the Cotton Bowl — one point again was hammered home for him.

Good things come to those who wait.
