Nick Saban taking control of in-state recruiting
Trent Richardson can play anywhere he wants to play. That’s not a stretch.
Florida and LSU are still sending out coaches to watch him play at Pensacola’s Escambia High and flooding him with messages, reminding him they’re still interested.
Just in case he decides to back out of a commitment to Alabama.
Why would Richardson, ranked the No.7 prospect in the nation by Rivals.com, renege on Bama? Simple: Mark Ingram.
Richardson is built like Ingram, runs like Ingram, even has a better upside than the Alabama true freshman from Michigan, according to recruiting analysts. He also plays the same position, running back.
Richardson isn’t fazed.
