OLE MISS: Rebels forecast is long day today
OXFORD – With focus geared toward today’s scrimmage, the second of August camp, Friday’s work was light and indoors for the Ole Miss football team.
The Rebels worked in shorts and helmets as rain fell and winds blew outside.
Senior offensive tackle Michael Oher was limited in his participation, but X-rays of his arm were negative following Thursday’s practice when Oher took a shot on the forearm.
Today’s scrimmage begins at 6 p.m. and is the culmination of Meet the Rebels Day activities, which begin at 1:30 at the indoor facility.
The scrimmage is free and open to the public and will be something less than the 100-play workout the Rebels went through last Saturday.
