Saban finds depth charts disrespectful

Perhaps, like me, you were a little taken aback when University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban went on his rant earlier this week over depth charts.
Saban went to great lengths to remind everyone that he doesn’t have one. And anyone who says he does is being irresponsible, not to mention disrespectful of his players.
“You know,” Saban said, “I want our fans to know out there that we don’t have a depth chart here, aiight? So anyone out here in the media who writes about a depth chart and really kind of disrespects some of our players based on their depth chart is really not being very professional, without checking with us first.”
