Lee making an impact at MSU

STARKVILLE – Make no bones about it. Wesley Carroll is unequivocally the starting quarterback.
The lone quarterback, though, he’s not.
Ever since Tyson Lee stepped on campus, the former Columbus and Itawamba Community College standout has impressed.
Sure, his size appears to be somewhat of an issue. After all, he stands at just 5-foot-11. Not exactly the prototype quarterback.

He knows that. And just in case he forgets, there are plenty reminders.
Starting in junior high and continuing through high school and junior college, he’s been told time and time again he’s too short to play the position.
He got the message again back in February when no major Division I program signed him following his All-American career in Fulton.
But once again, he didn’t listen to the pundits.
