Spurrier not calling plays can’t be good

It’s official. College football has become too complicated for its own good.

It’s not the new recruiting rule that bars head coaches from leaving campus this spring. Heck, Nick Saban may not like that rule, but it’s a pretty simple rule to understand.

Stay home, Nick. Or, more likely, in the office. And let your assistants video the practices they see, download the images to their laptop computers, and shoot it back for you to review almost immediately.
