Governor Bryant Congratulates Representative-elect Missy McGee
JACKSON – Governor Phil Bryant issued the following statement tonight congratulating Missy McGee on her victory in the special election to fill the vacant seat for House District 102:
“Congratulations to Missy McGee on a hard-earned victory. Missy ran a strong campaign outlining a positive vision for the future of Hattiesburg. There is no doubt that she will be a fierce advocate for her constituents and a leader in the Mississippi House of Representatives. I look forward to working with her in this capacity.”
House District 102 was previously held by Toby Barker who was recently sworn in as the Hub City’s 35th mayor.
