Attaboy!
To the coalition of business and community leaders pushing for infrastructure plans. The Mississippi Economic Council created a task force to study how the state could fund much-needed road and bridge maintenance. Their recommendation, while likely not popular, is clearly the only sane path. If state leaders do not fund these projects, it will soon start having a dire impact on our economic development opportunities. MEC and other supporters of this plan have taken the brave stance. Will politicians follow?
