State Auditor Talks to MSU Students
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — The state’s top accountant took a little time out Monday night to reach out to the next generation of financial professionals.
State Auditor Stacey Pickering was at Mississippi State speaking to the University’s chapter of the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance.
Pickering says that there is a shortage of accounting majors in both the private and public sectors.

US and China take a step back from sky-high tariffs, agree to pause for 90 days
The U.S. has agreed to drop its 145% tariff rate on Chinese goods by 115 percentage points to 30%, while China has agreed to lower its rate on U.S. goods by the same amount to 10%.
