Most Miss. incumbents ahead of challengers in fundraising
Three Republican incumbents have more than a million dollars cash on hand: Gov. Phil Bryant, Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves and Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann.
The only incumbent being outraised and outspent by a challenger so far is Treasurer Lynn Fitch. She reports having just over $106,000 cash on hand, while her Republican primary challenger, David McRae reports just over $334,000…
…The only Democrat in statewide office, Attorney General Jim Hood, has just over $211,000 cash on hand. His Republican challenger, Mike Hurst, has almost $164,000.
