New Online Filing System Deadline
Jackson—Beginning January 1, 2015, all corporate filings must be completed using the Secretary of State’s new online filing system. Corporate filings may be submitted online or printed from the new filing system for submission with a check.
On August 25, 2014, Mississippi became the first state in the nation to provide online filing for all of its business services. The convenient, new software has already begun to trim thousands of dollars in mailing expenses from the Agency’s budget.
“We are proud of the successful implementation of the new filing software,” says Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann. “Mississippi business owners have easily made the transition to the new system.”
The new online filing system may be found at www.sos.ms.gov.
Any business documents submitted on old paper forms will be returned unprocessed.
This does not apply to UCC filings at this time.
