Mary gets no jail time, will cooperate in Cochran case
District Attorney Michael Guest told The Clarion-Ledger that John Mary is pleading guilty to conspiracy charges related to photographing the bedridden wife of U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran.
Mary’s attorney, Doug Lee, said his client pleaded guilty to a felony conspiracy charge. He faced up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. However, Lee said, Guest recommended through the plea agreement no fine and five years probation non-adjudicated. This means that if Mary completes the terms of his probation, his charges will be expunged.
