Sec of State concerned about Tuesday’s election turnout
Today in Vicksburg the Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann expressed concerns about voter turnout for the U.S. Senate and House races. His concerns center around voters reaction to the Chris McCaniel and Thad Cochran campaign controversy.
“We are concerned that the all of the negative and vitriolic ads that you are seeing on ID will end up depressing the vote,” said Hosemann.
3 people from the Secretary of State’s office are in the Warren County Circuit Clerk’s office assisting the interim Clerk with election and voter ID preparation for Tuesday’s primary.
