GOP officials tout Republican principles during Jackson County Republican Women Luncheon
Red was the color of the day at Pelican Landing in Moss Point Wednesday as the 39th annual Jackson County Republican Women Luncheon was held, with several GOP dignitaries in attendance.
With the majority of JCRW members dressed in red, Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann pinch-hit for Gov. Phil Bryant at the luncheon and club president Deanna Cole-Bickham noted it was the first time Bryant had missed a JCRW luncheon since he entered politics.
Hosemann offered Bryant’s regrets and said the governor was busy working on issues such as “defeating Obamacare and improving education.”
