Cochran raising campaign cash

There’s still much speculation on whether U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran will seek a seventh term or hang it up, as I recently referenced in this column.

It doesn’t definitively answer the question, but I’m told Cochran has recently held two re-election fundraisers, one in Indianola, one in Oxford, and has another planned for D.C. soon.

Doesn’t exactly sound like someone who’s planning to hang up the cleats, does it?
