Biloxi, state to team up on park for Point Cadet

Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann said Tuesday he wants to work with the city to build a park at Point Cadet.

“You’ve got a jewel there,” Hosemann said after speaking with city officials at a special meeting. His priority is free public access to the waterfront. He told the council he will consider some commercial development if it doesn’t infringe on that access.
