N.C. offers some ‘insight’ into Perdue remarks
The Greenwood (Miss.) Commonwealth on forgiving North Carolina Gov. Beverly Perdue:
North Carolina’s governor, Beverly Perdue, ticked off a few folks in Mississippi with her recent disparaging remark about our state.
Several Mississippi newspapers, including the Commonwealth, editorialized about it. Both Gov. Phil Bryant and Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves took Perdue to task for the gratuitous dig.
