Silver Airways to start flying Hattiesburg-Laurel in August
After more than 10 months of consideration, the Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport will not only have a new commercial carrier but a new destination as its hub.
In a joint statement released Tuesday afternoon, Sens. Thad Cochran and Roger Wicker announced that Silver Airways would take over routes not only at Hattiesburg-Laurel but regional airports in Tupelo and Greenville.
