Romney has unannounced dinner with Mississippi backers
Attempting to keep expectations in check, Mitt Romney went to dinner outside Jackson Sunday night with top Mississippi Republicans and supporters but did not put the event on his public schedule.
Romney and his wife Ann joined Gov Phil Bryant, Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves and a small crowd at Jerry’s Catfish House not far from the capital city.
Romney’s campaign tipped off local Mississippi news outlets and clips from the appearance led the GOP primary segment on the Jackson NBC affiliate’s 10PM newscast.
