Coast is well represented in state house
SOUTH MISSISSIPPI’S star is on the rise with the naming of several of the region’s representatives to key positions on state House committees.
These recent appointments can ensure that the interests of coastal and south Mississippi are heard in the legislative session.
House Speaker Philip Gunn, R-Clinton, named Rep. Hank Zuber, R-Ocean Springs, to head the Banking and Financial Services Committee and Rep. John Read, R-Gautier, to head the Fees and Salaries of Public Officers Committee.
