LAUREL — Steve Simpson, Republican candidate for Attorney General, visited with supporters Wednesday morning at Hardee’s in Laurel.
Simpson, the current commissioner of the Mississippi Department of Public Safety, was unopposed in the Republican primary. He faces incumbent Attorney General Democrat Jim Hood in November.
