Bryant pushing medical city idea
Gubernatorial candidate Phil Bryant on Tuesday continued to tout his vision for a “medical city” and said a new stadium for Jackson State University should be part of the long-range plan.
Bryant, the presumed frontrunner in the governor’s race, has made health care a centerpiece of his campaign.
Noting the aging baby-boomer population, Bryant said Mississippi can save money in Medicaid costs, generate revenue and create jobs by improving health care offerings.
