Minor praises McCoy, takes jabs at FireMcCoy and conservatives
The parade of Billy McCoy state media well wishers and liberal columnists continues to engulf most Mississippi newspapers, even today as Bill Minor writes his column for the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal.
Minor says that McCoy is retiring “having endured every barb hurled by Republicans.” He even lends our site some credibility with this mention:
“A GOP website ‘FireMcCoy.com’ had been dedicated to ousting targeted Democrats it believed vulnerable and whose defeat would scuttle McCoy’s reelection as speaker. Too bad, they will have to find a new name for the site.”
