State Auditor issues demands against Greene County supervisors
LEAKESVILLE, Miss. — State Auditor Stacey Pickering has issued a demand letter to former Greene County Supervisor Earnest Holder for $130,673.
The 69-year-old Holder was convicted in April on federal charges of bribery, conspiracy to commit bribery and perjury before a grand jury. Holder also has been removed from office.
The charges against Holder stemmed from county contracts to remove debris left after Hurricane Katrina. The Federal Emergency Management Agency funded the contracts.
