Haley Barbour coy on 2012 courtship of Mike Huckabee

Haley Barbour did not deny Wednesday that he’s courting Mike Huckabee’s support for a presidential campaign, saying he wants “to get everybody’s support who’s not running.”

Barbour’s comments to on Fox News came two days after POLITICO reported that the current Mississippi governor is wooing the former Arkansas governor. Barbour denied that any deal his been struck with Huckabee, and stayed cagey when pressed on the matter.

“Mike Huckabee hasn’t decided not to run,” Barbour said told host Neil Cavuto. “He’s said that privately, he’s said that to me, and I know him well enough to take him at his word.”
