Town gets traffic light after fighting 1 year for it
WALLS, Miss. — The Mississippi Department of Transportation will install a traffic signal at an intersection in the town of Walls where two people have been killed.
The Commercial Appeal reports that MDOT changed its mind after Northern District Transportation Commissioner Mike Tagert asked for another review of the request from the city, DeSoto County and the school system.
The intersection is located on U.S. Highway 61 in western DeSoto County.
