Sen. Davis speaks at Horn Lake Chamber luncheon
Horn Lake Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Larry Witherspoon said he didn’t know that Sen. Doug Davis, R-Hernando, would be named chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee in mid-November when he asked him to speak at Thursday’s Quarterly Luncheon.
“I pulled him in right after the last luncheon,” said Witherspoon, “so he hadn’t got this honor yet.”
Regardless, Witherspoon knew he’d picked the perfect individual to address the 75 folks in attendance at First Choice Catering.
