Taylor plans visit to VA after veteran’s death
U.S. Rep. Gene Taylor said he plans to visit the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Biloxi today to find out why a sick veteran was released from the emergency room, only to die no more than 30 minutes later in the back seat of a taxi cab.
Taylor read in Thursday’s Sun Herald about veteran David Charles Miller’s death on Oct. 20.
“I was as appalled as everyone else in South Mississippi to read about it,” he said.
