Childers Hosting Wednesday Meeting In Calhoun City

Cong. Travis Childers will host a meeting this Wednesday to update all interested on disaster relief legislation working its way through Congress.
The meeting will begin at 3 p.m. at the Methodist Corner on the Calhoun City Square.
Childers introduced legislation last fall along with Sen. Blanche Lincoln, of Arkansas, to provide disaster relief for farmers, particularly sweet potato farmers in Calhoun, who suffered major crop losses last season due to excessive rains during harvest.
