Chairman Franks praises Obama’s selection for Nobel Prize

Mississippi Democratic Party Chairman Jamie Franks today released the following statement on the selection of President Obama for the Nobel Peace Prize:

“This great honor is a clear sign that the President’s commitment to returning the United States to its rightful place as a leader among nations is a welcome change to the rest of the world,” Franks said.

“All Americans should be proud that the world community recognizes the good work of our President, and we should share in this special moment.”
