Delbert Hosemann dismayed by voter turn-out
A sprinkling of voters showed up Tuesday for metro municipal elections and more for a Flowood liquor vote, but the turnout wasn’t a turn-on for Mississippi’s secretary of state.
More precisely, Delbert Hosemann said he was aghast at preliminary numbers.
“Voting is your most important right, and many people are risking their lives today so you can have the privilege of choosing your representation,” the first-term Republican said.
The light turnout apparently did bring fewer voter-related problems.
