Scruggs did not stain Lackey or Biggers

Scruggs, 62, has not only tainted decades of legendary legal work, he has deepened the doubts of those who do not trust the judicial system.

Lackey cannot be commended enough for courageously helping bring Scruggs to justice.

And Biggers cannot be thanked enough for imposing as powerful a deterrent as the law allows for such an assault on the courts.

The actions of these two jurists shine through the dark shadow cast by Scruggs’ unpardonable conduct.
