Some Democrats are troubled that taxpayer money is used to advertise on conservative talk radio shows.
In addition, McCoy said he’s heard from business leaders concerned about “big salaries, political patronage and so forth” at MDES.
“People drawing big salaries and doing little things. (The dispute) has a lot more to do with it than advertising,” said McCoy, D-Rienzi.
