Insider Baseball in SF v McIntosh – more lawyers DQ’d

Today, Judge Senter ruled on a Motion to Clarify his order last week that essentially disqualified anyone within the blast radius of Dickie Scruggs representing anyone against State Farm on Katrina litigation. The law firm of Taylor-Martino in Mobile, AL made this motion, and Senter summarily rejected it. Though the firm was not involved full fledged, they had some representations around the periphery of some of these cases, and Senter slammed the door on their further representation in these cases.

What this means is that Senter and likely other judges will continue to take a pretty hard line to exclude anyone that has been involved in an official capacity with Scruggs in any way in the State Farm cases.
