The new Gulf Coast healthcare center will specialize in senior care while working with plan partners to make sure an individual’s economic situation is not a barrier.
Sage Health, a specialized healthcare center designed to deliver primary care to seniors, will hold a grand opening of its newest location in Gulfport on January 10th.
Sage Health notes that its center is not a conventional physician’s office, but rather a new and innovative approach to providing primary care to seniors. The new healthcare center will focus on the multi-faceted and complex healthcare needs of seniors and will be staffed and equipped to specifically manage senior care and achieve better outcomes.

According to Sage Health’s website, Dr. David Roberts is the primary care provide for the Gulfport center. Roberts, a graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center, was residency trained in family medicine at the University of Tennessee Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Roberts has delivered medical care on the Gulf Coast since 1992 and has 36 years of experience in the medical field.
Dr. Roberts looks to provide comprehensive senior care, specializing in chronic care in diabetes and cholesterol management, obesity, heart disease and more.
Joining Roberts at the Gulfport center is nurse practitioner Tiffany Mensi, FNP-C. Mensi holds a bachelor’s in nursing from Southern Miss and a bachelor’s in psychology from Ole Miss. She also earned master’s degrees in nursing and psychology from South Alabama and Southern Miss, respectively. Mensi is responsible for providing acute and chronic care visits while also overseeing labs, imaging, health screenings and other related care needs.
Sage Health’s new center is located at 117 Hardy Court Shopping Center. They are open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
