YP Special Elections Series: Bill Sones for MS Senate District 39

The Senate seat for District 39 is currently vacant after former incumbent Sally Doty was appointed to the Public Utilities Staff by Governor Tate Reeves. One candidate for the seat is Bill Sones.

Sones is currently the Chairman of the Bank of Brookhaven and he resides in Brookhaven as well.

The election for this seat is set for September 22, 2020.
