Wicker Statement on President Trump’s Choice for HHS Secretary
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., today issued the following statement after President Donald Trump nominated Alex Azar to be the next Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS):
“The President has chosen wisely. Mr. Azar has a deep understanding of the country’s health-care system and the experience needed to lead this agency. I am hopeful that the Senate will consider his nomination as soon as possible.”
