Tupelo council to consider state flag policy

The City Council will vote tonight on a policy that would keep the Mississippi flag in place on municipal property, a policy that will also ensure that the flag flies in front of a new police department headquarters that hasn’t yet opened.

Council President Lynn Bryan, who represents Ward 2, presented a flag policy to the full council during a Monday afternoon session to review at tonight’s council agenda.
