Ocean Springs teacher launches bid for mayor
This week, Jay Twilbeck became the first of what is expected to be multiple challengers to Connie Moran for the Ocean Springs mayor’s seat in the 2017 municipal elections.
Twilbeck, a teacher at Magnolia Park Elementary, announced his candidacy on his personal Facebook page and also launched a Jay Twilbeck for Mayor of Ocean Springs page.
