Tupelo mayor Shelton to seek reelection

Shelton plans to seek another term as Tupelo mayor

Tupelo Mayor Jason Shelton has not made a formal announcement. Still, the first term mayor says he expects to seek another four years in office, saying there are a couple of things he wants to follow through on if allowed to continue serving.

“We still have revitalization efforts to do,” said Shelton. We’ll still be dealing with the aftermath of the tornado.”
