Officials react to New Hampshire primary
Rickey Cole, chairman of the Mississippi Democratic Party, said in an email Trump will be strong in both South Carolina and Nevada, while the Democrats will be jockeying for advantage in both states.
He said the next steps in Sanders’s and Clinton’s campaign should be to “keep talking about the issues and continue showing the voters that Democrats offer a better path toward the future than any of the Republicans.”…
…Joe Nosef, chairman of the Mississippi Republican party, said in an email even though many people were picking Trump to win the New Hampshire primary, few were picking Kasich to finish second.
“Unlike the Democrat primary, however, where your choices are between a liberal and a socialist, our Republican primary offers a variety of choices with a dynamic group of candidates that can appeal to a variety of conservatives,” Nosef said.
