PSC to take up MS Power refunds at July 7 meeting

Motion filed with PSC to speed up MS Power refunds

Thomas Blanton is asking the Mississippi Public Service Commission to force Mississippi Power to issue a refund for the right increase, in accordance with a ruling by the Mississippi Supreme Court.

The PSC has said it intends to look at plans to implement a refund to customers at its July 7 meeting. Blanton said he wants the timeline stepped up.

Mississippi Power has said it will comply with any ruling by the Public Service Commission.
