It’s down to the wire in race to become Biloxi’s next mayor
In two days, Biloxi voters will choose the city’s first new mayor since 1993, and both candidates in Tuesday’s runoff election are spending the weekend campaigning.
Andrew “FoFo” Gilich went with a traditional Biloxi crawfish boil at the beach Saturday. He is continuing with phone calls, breakfasts and meetings to urge voters to go back to the polls. “You know when you have the right message and you’re doing it for the right reasons it should be fun,” he said.
“I am going to do what we’ve been doing every day,” said his opponent, Winfield “Windy” Swetman III. He is calling voters and going door-to-door meeting voters.
