Gov. Phil Bryant Welcomes Lt. Gov. Reeves’ Tax Proposal
JACKSON—Gov. Phil Bryant said today that he welcomed Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves’ proposal to cut taxes for Mississippi residents and businesses.
“Last summer, I proposed the idea of returning money to the taxpayers of Mississippi, and I shared a detailed proposal when I released my Executive Budget Recommendation in November. As I’ve said, I am open to any idea that puts money in the pockets of working Mississippians, and I thank Lt. Gov. Reeves for joining me in this effort.”
