Congressman Harper Looking to the Future
Newly re-elected Congressman Gregg Harper from Mississippi is expressing optimism following Tuesday’s elections. With republicans controlling both chambers in Congress, Harper projects that more legislation will get passed.
“I expect actually being able to pass some legislation through that the President will have to look at, and either sign or veto,” says Harper, “and I think that there will be things that you will see the President sign off on that have just languished over in the Senate under Senator Harry Reid.”
