Chris McDaniel has finally found a potentially Confederate event he won’t attend.
Anyway, obviously this isn’t a great move for McDaniel, whose staff claimed up until yesterday that he was never “confirmed” at the event (though the event’s spokesperson begged to differ), especially given that he’s courted – and subsequently received – endorsements from organizations we’d normally consider to be “high profile,” (but apparently not high-functioning, given that they couldn’t do a basic Google search to identify where McDaniel had spoken before). Either it means his staff is deliberately courting a vote that I would say a vast majority of Republicans do not want included in their roster of support blocs, or he’s an incompetent fool surrounding himself with incompetent fools.
