Agriculture Commissioner Cindy Hyde-Smith headlines Leflore County’s salute to farmers

Agriculture Commissioner Cindy Hyde-Smith will headline Leflore County’s salute to farmers on Nov. 19 at the county civic center.

Beth Stevens, the executive director of the Greenwood-Leflore County Chamber of Commerce, tells The Greenwood Commonwealth (http://bit.ly/16Vyk3D) that 42 Leflore County-based agriculture-related industries have become active sponsors of the festival.

Stevens says two farmers will be recognized as co-Young Farmer of the Year.
