Jackson metro airport get FAA grants
The Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport in Rankin County has been awarded $3.69 million by the Federal Aviation Administration.
U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran, R-Miss., says the money will be spent on security enhancements at the airport.
Cochran says in a news release that the FAA has approved several airport improvement grants for the Jackson metropolitan area.
