Haley Barbour disputes PuffPo article stating he left the American Crossroads PAC

Former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour said Thursday that a report suggesting he left Karl Rove’s super PAC American Crossroads after being blindsided about the group’s decisions “has no basis in fact.”

Citing unnamed GOP operatives, The Huffington Post reported Wednesday that Barbour, who is also a former Republican National Committee chairman, was upset that Crossroads launched the Conservative Victory Project following the November election to reportedly go after certain conservative grass roots efforts.
